Despite moving in the same social circles,
we never crossed paths until November 2021, when the arrival of COVID-19 prompted Tara's return from Milan to Hong Kong. The two serendipitously connected whilst Tara was still in home quarantine, and Nick seized the first chance to Tai Po for a dinner date on a cool November evening. Amidst shooting stars, we bonded over our love for hiking, travel, and mutual friends. Our connection solidified on a subsequent hike to Sharp Peak, and from then on,
the rest was history.

Villa Nemora
Villa Nemora is an Agriturismo in Tuscan near Arezzo and Siena, where to spend a wonderful holiday in the green of the Chianti hills. We knew Villa Nemora was our perfect venue from the moment we stepped inside. With its charming, home-style villa, lush garden, and picturesque lawn, it feels like stepping into a storybook Tuscan setting. We can't wait to share this magical experience with our closest friends and family.

Flights
We recommend flying into the city of Florence since it's closest to the venue. Rome is also another option but the drive is much longer.

You will have to rent a vehicle to drive into Tuscany. There are many rental services at the airports that you can pre-book online.
The drive will take approximately 1 hour from Florence into the town of Arezzo near the venue.

Why Tuscany?Tara has always cherished Tuscany, having spent several years working and living in Milan. After our shared journey there in 2022, we both fell in love with its unique charm. We're excited to share our travel experiences with you!
-
Are kids welcome? As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, they are welcome at the welcome dinner and Sunday brunch, please let us know ahead of time!
-
Do I have to drive? We do recommend renting a car at the airport since Tuscany is a huge area with tons to explore. And there will be parking on our venue. Otherwise you may also hire a driver. There is also plenty of parking everywhere.
-
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? Our events will be held outdoors, and the afterparty will be indoors.
-
What will the weather be like? You can expect mild and pleasant weather with daytime temperatures around 19-20°C and cooler evenings dropping to about 9°C.
-
What should I wear?Stuck on what to wear for the events? No worries! We have created some mood boards for some fun outfit inspiration. We've got plenty of ideas to help you find the perfect look and show your style! See here for more details & inspirations!
-
Is there a gifts registry?Your presence is enough of a present to us! But for those of you who are stubborn, there will be a gift box at the venue and you are welcome to contribute to our honey-moon fund.
-
How long should I stay in Tuscany? We recommend reserving 2-4 days before or after the wedding to travel within Tuscany and its surrounding areas. There are plenty of sights and activities in the city of Florence and Rome as well and we can provide many recommendations. We will be traveling for a few days in the area after the wedding, so feel free to travel along.
-
How can I make sure to travel safely in Italy? There are incidents of pickpocketing, particularly in the city of Florence and in Rome, so always make sure to have an eye on your belongings and never leave your items unattended to. Suburb regions such as Tuscany are very safe, however, we would still advise to keep valuables on you rather than in the hotel room.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
